COURSE

The race will start at the Williams Street entrance to the Ma & Pa Heritage Trail in downtown Bel Air. The course is an out-and-back design. Participants will run just over a mile and a half down the trail toward Heavenly Waters Park before turning back. The course is a mix of gravel and paved trails that follow gentle rolling hills through the woods.  It is important to stay to the right side of the path along the entire route.

WATER STOPS

There is one water stop at Mile 1 which will be passed again around Mile 2.

EVENT GUIDELINES

Please no strollers (due to the narrow nature of the trail), roller blades, skates, bicycles, dogs or other pets allowed on the racecourse.  For your safety we discourage the use of headphones. Your race number must be worn on your front and must be visible. Do NOT exchange or give your race number to another participant.

POST RACE PARTY

The party begins immediately after the race in the trail parking lot. Water and snacks will be available for all participants. There will also be music, a gear raffle and an awards ceremony. Just down the road from the Ma & Pa Trail is Independent Brewing Company. Although not affiliated with The Kingdom Run, Harford County FCA or Mountain Sports, they have graciously offered their covered patio as a place for participants, their family and friends to also gather post race. Additional food and beverages will be available for purchase there.
